This silly spider is made from a Twinkie, black string licorice legs and sugar eyeballs that came from a candy store.
I just sprayed the Twinkie with black frosting in a can and cut the licorice to use as his legs. I stuck the eyes on using frosting as glue.
These are cheap Halloween treats that are fun and easy to make.
Have the kids help you make them or show them how to make them and leave the room, when you come back you will get to see where what they made, imagination is fun!
Experiment, maybe you can make spider web out of cotton candy, maybe you can make little candy bugs caught in the web, maybe you could make this spider hairy with cotton candy or shredded coconut with black food coloring? Do you have any ideas on how to make these spiders appear hairy? What else could be added to this spider? Share your thoughts below.
This will certainly be a spooktacular surprise at your next Halloween party!
