Peanut Butter Chocolate Dream Trifle
A rich, layered dessert featuring Hostess CupCakes, peanut butter, and chocolate!
Ingredients:
- 1 box Hostess Chocolate CupCakes (about 8 cakes)
- 1 cup salted peanuts, roughly chopped
- 1 ½ cups peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 box instant chocolate pudding (or homemade)
- 2 cups cold milk (for pudding mix)
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce
- 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup whipped topping (optional, for garnish)
- Reese’s cups or peanut butter cups, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pudding:
- In a bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until smooth.
- Let it set in the fridge for at least 5 minutes.
2. Make the Peanut Butter Cream:
- In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold in the peanut butter until fully combined.
3. Assemble the Trifle Layers:
- Bottom Layer: Crumble half of the Hostess CupCakes into a large trifle dish or glass bowl.
