Mini Chocolate Holiday Yule Logs

Celebrate the holidays with these adorable and delicious Chocolate Yule Log Minis, made with Hostess Chocolate CupCakes. They’re rich, festive, and easy to make, perfect for sharing at family gatherings or holiday parties!

Ingredients:

● 6 Hostess Chocolate CupCakes
● 1 cup heavy cream
● 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
● 2 tbsp powdered sugar
● ½ tsp vanilla extract
● Powdered sugar, for dusting
● Small red and green sprinkles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Slice and Prepare:
    Slice each Hostess Chocolate CupCake in half horizontally. Set aside.
  2. Whip and Melt:
    In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Pour over the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Let sit for one minute, then stir until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Chill for 20 minutes to thicken slightly.
  3. Fill and Reassemble:
    Spread the chocolate ganache onto the bottom halves of the CupCakes. Replace the tops and gently press together.
  4. Decorate:
    Dust with powdered sugar for a snowy look, then add red and green sprinkles for holiday cheer.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
    Arrange on a platter and serve slightly warm or at room temperature.

Variation – Simple Chocolate Yule Log Minis:

Short on time? Skip making the ganache and use store-bought chocolate frosting instead. Spread it between the CupCake halves, dust with powdered sugar, and you’re done!
