You’ve been missing out if you haven’t had a zinger. I’m going to miss the
Hostess cakes, they were the best. Suzy Q’s were my favorite. Frozen!

Thanks…..I am not sure if I would make these myself, but I give you a lot
of credit for even trying these!!! Super Clever…..thanks for you great
videos….I watch them once and then twice and then again and again!!! By
the way, I know that real Twinkies are full of chemicals but I was raised
on them……and after many many years, I am still alive…..so they didn’t
kill me!!! ha!!! Keep up the good work and great videos!!!! from mcddsqll
I make a white cake desert. you bake the regular cake, stab the cake with a
fork a bunch of times and pour jello over the top. you end up with a layer
of set up jello and then the fork marks get filled up also. . I missed out
on trying these from hostess.
What are you going to think of next? Suzie Q’s..Snowballs? Those Zingers
looked legit; I might have to give these a try. Thanks for sharing. :0)

Thank you for sharing! Zingers are my very favorite! I was just thinking
yesterday as to how to make homemade Zingers. I have a recipe for Twinkies
and thought about how I could make the Zingers using Raspberry Jelly. I
will try this!
I think they were. Most people are grieving over the loss of the Twinkie
but Hostess made a lot of great snack cakes. I know I’ll miss them.
The zingers were easy, somebody already figured this one out and they are
pretty close to the real thing.
The raspberry zingers were real good. You really missed out if you never
had one. These are very close to the same thing. That cake sounds good!
You really missed out if you never had a zinger. Give these a try, you’ll
love them!
I squeeze it all in somehow. The twinkies and zingers really are worth the
effort. They’re even better the next day!
It is good. If you’re near a Ukrops (or a Martins that still has a Ukrops
Bakery), their buttercream frosting is a decent (easy) creme filling. I’m
very curious to try that flour frosting you made.
As you can see, I’m working on the big problems of the day, LOL.
luckily the pastry gods have smiled on me. I move snow for an apt building
across the street. I am only required to clear the driveway but a senior
that lives ther has a son who drives a Little Debby delivery route truck. I
get bribed/motivated to clear her sidewalk immediately. Another crew is
hired to come in directly behind me for the sidewalks. He just doesnt want
to wait. I have unstuck his truck more than once before 7 am so he might be
remembering that too
Same here. The big problem with making them for me is that I end up with
24. I put a few in the freezer to see if the filling will freeze well. I’ll
let ya’ll know when I find out.
these are my favs and i dont even like coconut. i think it is because my
pawpaw always bought them for me when he was alive. i was such a skinny
little baby and kid he said i needed to get meat on my bones. haha i think
i can stop now 🙂 looks good!
