Hostess Jumbo Donette Holiday Christmas Wreaths No-Bake Recipe

How fun and awesome are these donut Christmas Wreaths? If you’re looking for a sweet and simple holiday treat that will wow your family and friends than these Hostess Jumbo Donette Christmas Wreaths are as festive as they are fun to make. Kids and adults alike will enjoy decorating these no-bake delights—perfect for a holiday afternoon activity. Let’s make some Christmas magic!

Ingredients

● 6 Hostess Jumbo Donettes
● 1 tub of white frosting
● Green food coloring (if not using pre-made green frosting)
● Red candies (like M&Ms or Red Hots)
● Shredded coconut (optional, for snow effect)
● Decorative sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Frosting:
    • If you’ve got green frosting, great! If not, scoop some white frosting into a bowl and add a few drops of green food coloring. Stir until you’ve got a vibrant Christmas green.
  2. Frost Half of Each Donette:
    • Dunk the top half of a Hostess Jumbo Donette into the green frosting. Pull it out and let any excess drip off. For extra coverage, dunk it again. Use a spoon or spatula to create little peaks and ridges that resemble a wreath.
  3. Add the Decorations:
    • While the frosting is still soft, press a few red candies onto each wreath to look like holly berries. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top for a snowy effect, or add some festive sprinkles for extra cheer.
  4. Optional Snow Touch:
    • For a frosty finish, gently press shredded coconut into the frosting before it sets. It’ll look like your wreaths have been dusted with fresh snow.
  5. Set and Serve:
    • Place the decorated Donettes on a tray or plate. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to allow the frosting to set. Serve and enjoy the holiday magic!

Tips for Extra Fun

  • Turn this into a decorating party by setting up a “wreath bar” with different candies, sprinkles, and toppings.
  • If you’re feeling creative, use mini Donettes for individual-sized wreaths. Perfect for gifting!
  • Don’t stop at green frosting—try white for a frosty wreath or even red for a bold holiday look.
