Christmas Twinkie Tinsel Delights, just in time for the holidays, this tasty treat can be fun to make and fun to eat, fun for the whole family.
Ingredients:
- 1 box of Hostess Twinkies
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- Red and green food coloring
- Holiday-themed sprinkles
Frosting:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red and green food coloring
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with festive cupcake liners.
- Prepare Twinkies:
- Unwrap the Hostess Twinkies and cut each one in half horizontally. Place each half into the cupcake liners, cream side up.
- Mix Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Dry Ingredients:
